As a Production Manager, you will lead all manufacturing operations in our furniture and woodworking factory. You will be responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling production activities to achieve productivity, quality, cost, and delivery targets while leading production teams and driving continuous improvement.
We are looking for a highly experienced professional with a strong background in furniture and wood manufacturing and proven leadership in factory operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise daily production operations across all manufacturing departments.
- Develop and execute production plans to meet delivery schedules.
- Lead production supervisors and factory teams to achieve production targets.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and company procedures.
- Monitor production KPIs and implement corrective actions when required.
- Improve productivity, reduce waste, and minimize downtime.
- Coordinate closely with Maintenance, Planning, Warehouse, Procurement, and Quality departments.
- Optimize manpower utilization and production efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across production processes.
Must Have
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in manufacturing.
- At least 4 years as a Production Manager in a furniture or woodworking factory
- Strong knowledge of furniture production processes and woodworking machinery.
- Proven leadership and people management skills.
- Experience with production planning, KPIs, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement.
- Good command of English.
Nice to have
- Experience with ERP systems (Odoo is a plus).
- Experience with CNC woodworking machines, edge banders, beam saws, drilling and finishing lines.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Six Sigma principles.
- Experience managing large manufacturing teams.
